How sharp is your lens?, people always think their lens in sharp / soft but they didnt realize their lens is actually a soft / sharp lens. Always check it correctly.
OK, im not an optical expert (even though i’m a telecommunication dude doing my degree thesis under Telematic Optic Panel) – but let me show you how i check my lens sharpness.
Take a picture. for example :-
This pics has been cropped 10-15% of its original size to 600×402. can you tell it’s a sharp lens? no you shouldn’t
What you should do, crop the picture 100% and observe it. like this :-
Do you think it’s sharp enough? i think so. The truth is i dont care. If i really want to print pics above without cropping, the picture above would be 1 meter tall. I never print anything larger than 12R before, but to print 1 meter tall print would be overkill for hobbyist like me. imho sharpness is a subjective and art, same goes to bokeh. some might like sharp images but i’ve seen some out of focus and soft images but beautifull. sharp alone wont make a good picture 
– and sharpness depends more on your photographic skill than the number of megapixels.

no.. definitely not…
unless you want to print a billboard, kalau takat 12R, 6MP will give the same fantastic result as 12MP camera.
