Enough from the intro. Let’s proceed with part two report of our malacca trip. we decided to have asam pedas for dinner as ikan bakar trip would take longer time and it would be impossible to slot in a bowling event. pictures after the jump….
never heard of this outlet before, local folks said it’s the most famous asam pedas place. Avan brought us here to taste one of the finest (according to avan lah) asam pedas in Malacca. the shop called asam pedas power abang Piee – located at Jalan Puteri Hang Li Poh, Bukit China, Malacca.

to be honest, i personally think the asam pedas is too hot/spicy (pedas).. haha.. maybe this kind of ‘hot’ more acceptable for local or negeri sembilan folks but definitely not for me. the taste is soo hot that it kills the aroma of the asam pedas. I’d like to suggest to the owner to give option to customer whether they want an original recipe or a moderate one which i think will suit broader customer. The price is very reasonable for common ahmads and aminahs

my opinion, tak sedap la asam pedas dia, we had better asam pedas melaka during our MMU years..maybe sebab lately tempat ni dah di glamer kan by word of mouth, jadi semua berpusu2 nak mkn kat situ..but back during our uni time tak de plak org kata kat bukit cina ni asam pedas sedap..hehe..

Assalamualaikum & salam Sejahtera….Bagi orang Melaka, Asam Pedas dah jadi darah dagingnya…yg paling sedap adalah masakan emak…tu memang x boleh cari di Kedai atau Warong….Jadi Selera masing2, kadang2 harga juga memainkan peranan, samada mahal @murahnya sesuatu makanan tersebut…So, kalau semangkuk asam pedas berharga mahal, tentulah pelanggan mahukan yang berasap punya.
